When sharing a dashboard - do I have to share all filters used in the dashboard as well?

I created a dashboard and used a lot of custom filters to get the data needed for the individual dashboard modules. When I share the dashboard the users get an error on all modules that I made a filter for. Does this mean that each person has to have all of the filters I used saved using the same names that I created the filter with?

Yes, you need to share the filters too.

It would be nice if JIRA had the option to at least compare the filter access with the dashboard so it can warn you that a dashboard may have one or more broken gadgets for some users.
