When synchronizing issues with mylyn and jira issues get marked as unread

Even when I've already read them. Is there a setting somewhere that remembers which issues I have and which I have not read yet?

Hi,

One of the possible issues is that Atlassian Connectors fails to parse date received from JIRA.

I would suggest:

• Check your Eclipse error log view and look for parsing date warnings.
• If there are any, go to Task Repository view in Eclipse, open your JIRA repo and set your language/locale in the same way as it is set in JIRA

That was indeed the case. I expected the jira locale to be set to English as that is the standard language we use to communicate here. But it was set to Dutch and in Eclipse it was set to English (US). Changed it to Dutch and it solved it.
