When to expect UI changes with the 'New JIRA Experience'?

I see via this link that a number of UI updates are forthcoming.  I cannot determine when and which changes will be delivered in for JIRA Server releases other than the first seems to drop with 7.10. 

Can someone detail which changes will be deployed with which Releases and whether they are going to be configurable in allowing teams to continue using the legacy Look and Feel?  We want to stay ahead of these changes to ensure our training materials are adequately updated and that any automated testing remains intact.  Thanks and JIRA on!

Hi James,

The changes to the new UI was already applied to Jira Cloud for a while, but Server won't receive the same changes.
Server will also receive updates in the UI, but we still don't have a date for that.
