When will the Subversion plugin be updated for Jira 5?

I could not find any information on this topic, both in the forums and in JIRA (not even as open tasks).

Is it supposed to work out of the box? One of our guys tried version 0.10.7 of the plugin against RC3 of JIRA 5 and it didn't work (I don't have the error, but I could get it if necessary).

Is there an alternative for integrating JIRA 5 and SVN?
