Where are the email templates? How to change the date format?

Hi,

I deleted a couple of test projects and received the email notifications. However, the message is in dd/mm format and with GMT time stamp. The user profile is set correctly, and I do not see any options to set the date format or edit mail templates; outgoing navigation link under mail settings just shows a blank frame.

The format of Jira notification templates should follow the same format specified in the look and feel of your Jira site, as mentioned in the documentation below:

Configuring the look and feel of your Jira applications

However, there are a few date fields that its formats are not customizable. That being said, can you confirm to us what is the date field you are talking about and check if it is not following the format you selected under Look and Feel menu?

We have a feature request to allow the format change of those non-customizable date fields in the e-mail:
