Where do closed status stories go in reports?

Rachel Gonzales August 2, 2024

We use a status for Closed when we complete or no longer need a story but don't want to delete it because we may want to look back on it for reference later.  I can't seem to find these associated to an Epic Report but would like to know if these stories go anywhere where they can be viewed in a report.

Here is my example:

Hello @Rachel Gonzales

You said you want to view them in "an Epic report".

Are you looking at a specific report? If so can you provide a screen image of the specific report you are viewing?

Or are you wanting to find or create an Epic report? If this is the case, please tell us about the information you want to have in that report (list, metrics, etc.)

Yes, I'd like to be able to see Closed status stories on this page so I can access or download in an excel.

I was able to find them in the Issues by creating a filter but when I go to export, it only does the first highlighted line

What is the filter that you are using for the "MPB board"?

Can you also show us the mapping of Statuses to Columns for the board? Is the Closed status mapped to a column?

The reports associated with a board will reflect only the issues that are within the scope of the board's filter and for which the Status of the issues are mapped to columns of the board.

If the issue is no longer within the scope of the board's filter, then it will not be included in the reports that use access under the Reports menu when viewing that board.

If the issue's Status is not mapped to a column on the board, then that will also exclude it from being shown on the board, in the backlog, or in the reports associated with that board.
