Where is 'RELEASE' or 'Version' in new GUI?

This is really frustrated! I did lots of search and some answer is about to use adding navigation. BUT I couldn't find it! CAN I move back to original JIRA GUI?

Are you using a Business project? The option to use Releases and versions is not available on the Team-managed business projects, however, you can use this feature on the Company-managed business projects by navigating to Project Settings > Versions.

Thanks, and is it possible to change the project setting as you mentioned? It seems I need to re-create a brand new project space to deal with it?

We cannot directly change the Project type from Business to Software, however, you can import the issues from business project to a Software project following the steps outline in this document: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/import-data-from-a-business-project-to-a-software-project/

Have you checked the horizontal menu bar in your project view? You should be able to add it to the main navigation if not:

Problem is I couldn't find the thing like you, even I tried 'Add navigation' below is what I had. It's weird!

I get what you mean — the new JIRA interface can definitely feel confusing at first. Some features like “Release” or “Version” are just hidden under new navigation sections now. It kind of reminds me of when I first tried Bus Simulator Indonesia on bussimulator-apk.com — the layout felt new, but once you get used to it, everything starts making sense and becomes pretty smooth to navigate.

In the new Jira GUI, the Release/Version option is now under “Releases” in the left-hand project navigation. If you don’t see it, you might need to enable it in Project Settings → Features. Unfortunately, Jira doesn’t allow switching back to the old GUI.
