Hi Hammat, welcome to the Community!

JQL will return a list of issues that meet a certain criteria. For example, it can show you a list of issues that are 24 hours or less away from a due date. However, JQL alone won't show you the time remaining to a due date.

It sounds like you might benefit from some of these other ways of seeing how much time is left until a deadline:

  • SLA (Service Level Agreement)s are the most common way this is done, using Jira Service Desk. Information about SLAs is available here - although you need to be using a Service Desk project in order to take advantage of these.
    js_2-1
  • Marketplace apps can add functionality like this. For example, here's a free one for Jira Server that adds a timer. There are other apps on the Marketplace that might be useful as well. Note that you need Jira Administrator permissions to install apps.
  • Dashboard gadgets can show you issues that are approaching a due date. Check out this Community thread for some options that will help track due dates with gadgets.
  • Chrome extensions might exist that add what you're looking for. None jumped out at me with a quick glance through the first few in the list, but there are many many Jira-related Chrome extensions on the Chrome web store.

I hope this provides some options!

Cheers,
Daniel

Hi Hammat,

Time to SLA lets you track how much time you have left before you breach your goal with a live counter. This SLA Panel lets you stay on top of your game :)

It also has a Time to SLA custom field so that you can see how much time you have left in issue navigator so you won't miss anything.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Hi @Hammat Samir

Did you try to set SLA timer for your issues?

For example, you can try SLA Time and Report.

It lets you set start and stop condition for SLA timer (according to you issue fields), set time limits with automating actions for overdue issues: notification, changing reporter, priority or status.

Data about status of time limits (SLA status) you can monitor on the add-ons report or on each issue view tab.

Hope it helps

Regards

Zoryana
