Hi all,
During the cleanup of our server instance I removed a number of custom fields (via the user interface). During the migration to the cloud I see the following message in the logs.
[c.a.j.m.e.core.issue.CloudChangeItemConverter] no field matched to change item with field name: name of the custom field in issue: issuekey.
I wonder if there are any entries that should/can be deleted in the database
Can i just ignore this log message ? It is marked as WARN
Thanks for helping me !
Cheers,
Erik
I thinks that's are the entries from the issue change history that still show the name of the field. I saw this as well this morning after some clean-ups.
If a history entry refers to a missing link or attachment, the history entry won't be migrated. If a linked issue or project is migrated at a later date, the history entry will be updated.
Regards,
Tim
Hi Erik and Tim,
Daphne from Atlassian here 👋🏼
I'm a content designer on our Migration team and we’re currently doing research on how customers are using our Migration documentation.
We’re interested in speaking with customers who are migrating (or have recently migrated) less than 1000 users and who are not using (or did not use) the services of a Solution Partner.
What’s involved in the research:
During the research, we'll start with a general chat to get to know you, and then we’d like to hear about where you are in your migration journey, and what documentation you’ve been referring to.
As a token of our appreciation, you'll receive an e-gift card worth $100 within 5 days of completing your session.
If you're interested in participating, please contact me at dzhang3@atlassian.com to schedule a time that works for you. If you have any questions, feel free to reply to this message or email me directly. Thank you!

Hi Erik, thanks for your interest!
Could you send me an email at dzhang3@atlassian.com so I can get your details and organise a day and time?
Cheers,
Daphne
