Why I fail to add fields to project issue list view?

Hi there! I would like to add a custom field "Target end" to the project issue list view.

I have already added this field in the SYSTEM field setting (as below) but this field was not displayed in the list view.

Is there any possible solution to this?

Thank you in advance.

The project list view does not (yet) have customisable columns as the issue navigator does.

Hi @Ouioui Zhou

if you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you may want to try out JXL for Jira. It's a full-fledged list/spreadsheet view for your issues that allows viewing and inline-editing all issue fields, of course including the Target end field.

JXL integrates into your project sidebar (as "Sheets"), so it could be a good alternative to the project list view.

Here's how it looks in action:

It's worth noting that JXL can do much more than that - e.g., it supports issue hierarchies, inline issue creation, export to various data formats, and much more. More info at https://jxl.app. (Disclaimer: I work on JXL :))

Hope this helps,

Hannes

From this filter you would do the following in list view:

1. select "columns"

2. navigate to the target end field and check the box
