Why Jira automatically disable users?

Malesys Elie March 1, 2019

Hi,

I can see in our Jira audit logs that since we use the data center solution, Jira automatically set some users as inactive, we don't know why and we don't expect that behaviour.

here is an exemple :

Sans titre.jpgso, my question is : in which case Jira automatically disable users?

Regards,

Elie.

Hi Malesys,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
As per the information on this ticket, when user management is handled in remote Crowd directory, JIRA is not receiving the information about the author of the change from Crowd itself, that's why the author of the event is displayed as anonymous.
In this case, it's not Jira that is inactivating users, but some admin that is manually doing it.
As that ticket is old and the last updated that was on 2015, I've created a new feature request:
Please, click on vote and watch to receive updates.

Regards,
Angélica
