Why am I getting this error when trying to create a ticket?

Country - SFMC: Country - SFMC is required.

This shows up as a red banner for creating the ticket.

@Fellipe Demoraes , welcome to the Atlassian Community.

This error indicates that the field "Country - SMFC" is mandatory to be filled in when creating your issue. So you must indicate some value in it to move forward in creation.

You can remove this requirement by reviewing these two options:

Click Project Settings:
Go to "Fields";
Check that in the Field Configuration where the issuetype you are trying to create, the field "Country - SMFC" is marked as "Required". If yes, you can make it optional by selecting the "Optional" option.

If you don't see this in Field Configuration, still in the project settings, go to "Workflows", select to edit the workflow associated with the issuetype you want to create the issue, then in the "Create" transition, click on "Validators" and see if there is some information pointing to this field. If yes, remove it.

From then on, the field will become optional when creating the issue and this message should no longer be displayed.
