Why am I not able to see a bug that I created in my project, in my board?

I have a bug ABC-123 that I created in my project. When I choose the Agile board, I do not see the bug in my backlog. When I open the query I used to create the board, I can see it..

Is bug a sub-task type? Sub-tasks don't appear in the backlog because they don't have any use in there.

Ok, then your board filter is not selecting it, or the issue is created in a status that is not in the backlog
