Why am I not seeing all the stories listed for my epic in my Jira Plan view

Vishal_Kalavar March 17, 2023

I only see 2 stories listed under the Epic when I view my Jira plan. It is missing the other 3 stories that are part of the same epic.

Do you mean your roadmap (accessed via the left sidebar of your project) or an Advanced Roadmap plan (accessed via the Plans button at the top)?

Either way, the problem will normally be that your incoming filter excludes them somehow.

I'm using the Advanced Roadmap plan (via Plans button at the top). I see it listed in my list of issues when I use the filter in the Issues Search option at the top, but it does not show up in the Plan.

@Vishal_Kalavar check what issue source you are using in Advanced Roadmaps - if it's a board (rather than a whole project), check that the stories you are missing appear there.

The Filter at the top doesn't really relate to the plan (unless it's the filter driving the source board :) )

Thank you so much for taking the time to help me with my issue.

I tried it with all 3 issue sources: Board, Project and Filter. Still seeing the issue.

And which is configured as the issue source in Advanced Roadmaps - the Board or the Project?

Also worth reviewing the exclusion rules configured on your plan (see plan settings)
