I can't find change log in the reports section fo Jira, i want to check the progress of my tickets across the sprint board.

There are three options I would like to suggest to get issue changelog:
1. History for the single ticket
2. Activity Stream Gadget can also be helpful for reviewing past changes. It shows a stream of activity from across all the projects and issues that you have access to. You can see activity for a single user or the whole team.
3. Issue History for Jira app. My team developed this add-on as a customizable changelog report where you can track changes for any standard or custom issue field in a separate column.
Check out what works best for you.

The issue history (changelog) is stored with each issue. When you want to see that, please view the issue and you will find History in the Activity section. This information is not a separate report at the project level.
