Why are epics assigned to only one team appearing under Shared team features in Easy Agile?

Instead of appearing in the Roadmap Backlog some of the epics assigned to only one team appear under shared Team Features in Easy Agile. How should we fix it?

My name is Henri and I’m a support engineer here at Easy Agile.

It sounds like there are already epics on your Increment Roadmap that you didn't put there.

Epics are added to the Increment Roadmap in two ways:

1. Someone schedules epics using drag-and-drop on the Edit Increment page.
2. Date syncing is enabled for this Program, and the app finds epics have dates on them indicating they're during this Increment. (In this case, they're added to the "Shared team features" swimlane since the app does not not select a team for them.)

Since you didn't add them and they're in the "Shared team features" swimlane, it's likely in this case to be date syncing.

Can you please check if:

• Date syncing is enabled, as shown in the "Edit Program" form?
• These epics on the Program Roadmap have date fields set?

(In this case, they're added to the "Shared team features" swimlane since the app does not not select a team for them.)" cause us trouble to manually every features (in my case Epic) to specific team swimlane while it is absolutely located in the team's project board.

Could you provide more advices?

I'm sorry that the default swimlane for date-synced issues is causing problems for you and your teams. 

Can you please share what Roadmap issue source is configured for this Program? 

• If this is set to "Jira epics from my team boards", the app should be able to automatically add date-synced issues to the correct team board. 
• The other options that use a dedicated board cannot automatically detect which issues belong in which team swimlane.

Hi,

That's my bad not to choose correct option when created the Program.

However, we can't changed it once created. This get us to create a new program to fix it.

Tell me if we could do better.

You're correct that it is not possible to change the Roadmap issue source after a Program is created.

In order to switch to "Jira epics from my team boards" so that the app can assign epics to the correct team swimlanes, you would need to create a new Program.
