Why are not estimations appearing on the Scrum board?

Hi all,

I've configured "Estimation" as the estimation field to be used as estimation method, as per attached.

Problem is, it doesn't appear on the backlog list (arrow on the left), even though the issue is properly updated with a value.

What am I doing wrong? It works if I just use "Story Points", so I don't understand why it's not working now.

The reason of why I am trying to use the Estimation field, it's because it's a text field (I want to move to T-Shirt sizing).

Hello @Tiago Machado 

It doesn't show up in the backlog in that section in particular because that will only show story points on a scrum board and original estimates on a kanban board.

If you want your custom "Estimation" field to appear in the backlog view, then in your board settings > card layout you'll want to add the "Estimation field" to the backlog view. This will make the value of that field appear in the backlog, just not in the location you would expect.

If you are only storing number like story points in this custom field, then I'd agree with @Nicolas Grossi in that you should just use the regular story points field.

That's sad. I was trying to use Estimation field in order to set up the Tshirt sizing.
