Hi team,

Why can’t I move the parent issue to done state?

This is just general question want know, one of my customer is facing this problem if anyone of you got the same problem.

Can please provide me different solution for this question.

Welcome to Atlassian Community.

Can you please check the workflow Transition condition towards to "Done" status.

If any condition is applied as above, when some sub-tasks are not in done status. you many unable to transit to "DONE" Status.

Even if the child issue is done state i am unable to move the parent issue

Do you have any conditions applied on "done" transition.

i want to clear one thing i am not facing this issue in general for troubleshoot i wanted to know the answers

Okay, the above is one case and, if any other conditions applied, on that case also , you may not able to transit the transition to "DONE" status.
