When creating a Form under my Jira project, despite the Environment field being set to be shown under Create Scrum Bug (the scenario applies to this case), it still won't show on the available field list.
If I tried to make the Environment field to be required under "View Field Configuration", it will appear under the Form creation screen, but once you move this field into the form, it will display:
This required field is unsupported, contact admin to make this field optional
Error.
I can't think of a reason not to allow adding the environment field available for form creation. Is there any solution besides creating my own custom field for the same feature?

@Trudy Claspill , @Art Hsieh , any luck with this one?

While I have not tried this myself, I found that the documentation does not include the system field Environment in its list of supported fields.
