Why do I get the message "Connect your account to view preview links" for github links?

One of the users on our Jira Cloud instance has suddenly started getting the above message for all links leading to GitHub pull requests. This doesn't seem to be affecting any other users in our team. What might be causing this, and what can I do to resolve the issue?
