Why do my quick filters, which use 'assignee', show a GUID rather than the users name

I can create the quick filter and type the user's name, but once created it shows the GUID in the JQL column

e.g.  assignee = 5fdb25e091bb2e010819ec65

Yes, and... to Jack's answer: One work-around to keep the name visible in your quick filters is to use this syntax: assignee IN ("Paul Treadwell")

It works fine on the board but not very helpful to see the GUID.
