Why do the cards I create in my next-gen (NG) project not display on my Kanban board?

I have created a project and added epics and tasks to my project, but none of the cards display on the board view in any of the columns. They only display if I create it right from the column.

I don't have the sprint feature enabled because I don't need it.

Have you figured this out as yet? Can you provide a screenshot of where you are hoping to see issues that are not appearing?
