Why does Git Integration branch from the wrong commit (an old one)?

Recently I've tried creating a branch using Git Integration button.

It seems that the base for the branch is a commit made about a 1 month ago, and the head of the source branch is updated yesterday.

We use Microsoft Azure DevOps Repos.
