When I create a issue and save, sometimes it automatically changes the issue title.
For example, I create a issue named "OS", then after I save the issue, it automatically updates it to "OS \ BONE".
The auto update behavior depends on the title's content. Some words do not trigger the auto update, some do (which is annoying!)
Can someone please help me understand why this happens and how to fix it?
This issue is likely caused by an auto-translation or mapping feature in your issue tracker that expands abbreviations or keywords. Check for any custom field rules, templates, or plugins that may be auto-modifying titles based on content. Disabling or adjusting those should fix it.

Hey @Jason Wang
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
It sounds like some automation rules are running that may update the issue summary.
You may check the recent rules executed for an issue on the right side of the issue view (Automation panel just after context fields).
Thanks!

Hi Karan,
Thanks for the quick answer. I checked on the Automation panel, and clicked on "Refresh", it saids "There are no recent rule runs for this issue."

Ok, I found the issue. It was because I connected a "translate" app, which was trying to auto translate. It was not recognizing the source language correctly. After removing the app, the auto renaming behavior stopped.
Thanks for looking into this
