Why doesn't Jira offer Release Burnup Charts out-of-the-box?

I see that Jira FINALLY offers a sprint burnup chart, but I am really baffled why Jira does NOT offer a standard Burnup Chart at the "RELEASE" level.  Release burnup charts and reports are a standard agile information radiator report that's commonly used to report to stakeholders the amount of completed work and scope change for a given release (or version as Jira calls it).  It's troubling to me that this option is not offered.  Other Agile tools I have worked with all offer a release burnup chart/report out of the box, except Jira. This is a serious flaw on behalf of Jira, so many other agile practitioners complain all the time about the lack of following general agile standards in terms of out-ot-the-box reports like this one that should be offered.

Is there a reason why Release Burnup Charts are not offered in Jira and will it be offered in the future?
