We have offices based in California, Mexico and Chile. JIRA Software Cloud in Santiago, Chile is EXTREMELY SLOW regardless of the connection speeds, the computer, the OS and the time of day.
Base environment scenario:
- Connection speed tested with speedtest.net +400Mbps Download +15Mbps Upload (see results)
- 16Gb RAM, Quadcore @ 2.8Ghz, Mac OSX Catalina or Windows 10 PRO with Firefox Quantum 68.8.0esr (64-bit), Google Chrome (Version 83.0.4103.61 (Official Build))
Atlassian (JIRA or Confluence) page load times in Chile are seconds slower than the same page loaded in California. But similar cloud software is not that slow (e.g. Google Docs).
We understand that this could be due to Atlassian's Content Delivery Network, so we ask please consider expanding CDN capabilities in Chile because JIRA software can be a little painfull to use under such slow conditions.
