I've tried different gadget configurations for the "Assigned to me" gadget (including adding a dummy gadget (see screenshot)), but am not able to see any content in the wallboard view. The gadget comes up as a blank white square. Any thoughts?
Hi Adrian,
The original bug that Petterson reported in regards to this assigned to me gadget not working on the wallboard in JRACLOUD-71765 has been resolved already.
However that bug is linked to another issues as related in JRACLOUD-71791. That bug is still open. I believe this second bug ticket applies in your case given the information you have provided so far. I would recommend watching that issue and click the 'This affects my team' link on that issue. This can help our development team to prioritize bug fixes.
Sorry there does not appear to be a work-around for this problem right now, but I would recommend watching that issue for updates.
Andy
Hello Hernandez,
Hope you are having a nice day. :)
As @Andy Heinzer mentioned, we need the HAR file from your Cloud instance to properly troubleshoot and confirm what is causing the problem, however, I was able to reproduce it in my own JIRA Cloud instance too.
After digging a little bit further and checking other Cloud instances, It seems that the Assigned to me Gadget is not rendering well on JIRA Cloud indeed, returning the following error in the console:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'assignedToMe' of undefined

Can you right click in the blank square > Inspect > Navigate to the console tab and check if this is the error you are seeing too?
If that's the case, please refer to the bug I reported for this behavior:

I'm getting a similar issue, not sure if they are related but the wallboards are not showing in my Chrome browser. I didn't see the HAR option on the Developer tool - so hopefully, the information captured in the screengrab is useful.

Another test I've just done was to install the Agile Wallboard Gadget. When I then activated the Wallboard view this was the only gadget to be shown. So could the issue be Gadget based and not the wallboard itself:

Was this issue ever resolved? We seem to have this problem only when adding Jira macros that come via the gadget feed into Confluence. The Jira gadgets that don't come from gadget feed like the activity macro works fine. Any ideas?

Sorry I don't see any screenshot here yet.
I would be interested to see if you can recreate this problem and generate a HAR file when doing so. With this information we should be able to see if there are any HTTP error codes that might account for the gadget not displaying as expected. In my experience it's relatively easier to generate these in a Chrome browser when compared to IE or Firefox.
