Hello,
I have a project where the the permissions are set so that no one should be able to delete issues. However, the delete button is still showing as an option when you click on "..." on a card from the board view.
When clicked, the user just gets an error message and can't actually delete the issue, but I am still confused why the Delete button is appearing at all. You cannot see the Delete button at all from the Issue view FYI.
Thanks
@Christy Kennedy ,
Let me see if I can help here with this.
A few things we can do to troubleshoot this is check your browser and clear the cache to see if that is still there after the clear.
If that is still there you might want to validate if the permission scheme is supporting the no delete permission. You could try to associate a new permission scheme that is similar to see if that fixes the issue.
If those don't fix these issues, I would put in a support ticket with Atlassian.
Hope this helps,
A A RON.
Hi Aaron - Thanks for your response. I have tried clearing the cache and associating a different permission scheme that correctly removes the delete option, but it did not work on this particular project

Please let us know what the fix is from support as it could be helpful for others in the community if this happens to others.
Also want to state if the project is having lots of issues if you build a new project move all the data from the old project to the new project then delete the old projects that could also help as I have had to do that before.
I would wait to see what support comes back with though.
