When looking at time spent on an issue, I can only see the aggregated time for subtasks in tasks and not any aggregated time for tasks in Epics.
Why is that?
That seem to be a very natural feature to implement in Jira Software.
Adding Tempo will allow me to see the time spent by each person of a task, but there is still no aggration of work logged in the Epics...
We have built an app which can help meet your use case. If you are fine to try out take a look at
The add-on provides the hierarchy view of your Epics and you can also track the progress of the same based on the roll up of your child issues.
Do try it out.
Disclaimer : I work for RVS, the vendor for this app
I shouldn't need an app for a feature that should be available out-of-the-box.
(Especially not an App that involves time-tracking, agile work is about work management, not time management).
