Why my images will not show up in issue tickets, in the description field, drop/ browse?

I am unable to attach any images in:

- the description field by the attachment, copy/paste 

- the attachment field by dropping in  / browsing to files

I have logged out/in to jira account, cleared cache, cold boot,  all without success.

Do you have "create attachments" permission?

Also, what file type are you trying to attach?

Is your description field set to text only or wiki-style? What version of jira are you using?
