Why not Updating custom field in history?

Hi! Im created scripted field in my project . It switch option in cf(Counter status /select list/) if time in status is over  - switch option in cf  "Fail".
But this not work in HISTORY ISSUE.

Hi @Alex ,

AFAIK it is not visible in the history, because the value is not stored in the issue (= database). It is evaluated based on the script when you open the issue.

As I know, scripted field is not written to database. The value of the field is calculated at the time when issue is displayed. So, it is not written to history.
