Why the backlogs can't show in active sprint?

I set 35 backlogs in one active sprint. But I can't see them in the backlog board. I can see them in the filter.

Hi @Cira Zhao

Issues shown in the backlog view have not been assigned to a sprint, and will only be visible on that view. Once you start a sprint, only issues that have been assigned to that sprint will be shown, and they will appear in the column that is mapped to the status that the issue is currently in.

In order to see all the issues that the board filter selects you have to map them to a column on the board, or else they will not be visible on the backlog either. You could use a quick filter to remove them from an active sprint.

All the issues are assigned to this sprint and the sprint has been started (active). All the issues are in in-progress status.

If the issues are in progress, then why you should see them on the backlog? You should see them on the scrum board, on the column to which you have mapped the "in progress" status.

@Cira Zhao As Alex said, you should see all the issues on the board. Have you mapped the status?

Even in the scrum board, I can't see all the backlogs.

Then check the board settings that you have mapped correctly all your workflow statuses. Are you on a company managed project?

@Cira Zhao Could you please move the Backlog from the unmapped column.

Thank you all. That's the reason. I check the board settings and mapped all the workflow statues, they are showing now.

Best Regards,

Cira

Hi @Cira Zhao

Backlog items are not part of a sprint. They are issues in the backlog.

When you add them in the sprint and you start the sprint, they are part now of that specific sprint. Which status do they have?

Hi @Cira Zhao ,
You may need to update the board settings.
