Why won't jira let me set a holiday as a due date?

If I put in 12/25 which is a Monday, JIRA automatically resets it to the day after.

It won't set it to the Sunday, which is normally a non-working day, but it won't set it to the holiday date even when I set the board to 7 days.

It is not an out of the box functionality of Jira. I guess you have an addon which does it for you.
