I would like to migrate from Jira Server to Cloud. I set up a test cloud account and followed the migration suggestion. I exported everything to a .zip and imported into the cloud account. This worked very well and everything appears to have moved over.
However, for each issue that has more than 10 worklog entries, from the 11th and older the worklog comment is blank.
I have three issues that have over a hundred worklog entries and this poses a problem. All the time information is there, just no comment.
Co-incidentally, when you first click on worklogs it shows the first 10 and you click an "more" button to see another batch. The comments are always present only on the first 10 that show on the initial screen. Could this issue be related?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Wanted to update this post, in case anyone else encounters this same problem, there is a bug in regards to displaying worklog in the new issue view in Jira Cloud in which we are tracking over in JRACLOUD-73585. The current work-around is to have that importing user turn off the issue view for their account.
To disable the new issue view please following the steps below:
Hi,
Sorry to hear about this problem. I have not encountered any other users that have reported this particular problem before. I would expect that your data would have been migrated over successfully here. I have created a support case on your behalf over in https://getsupport.atlassian.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/49/MOVE-10080
Someone from our migrations support team can work with you to investigate this more detail.
Regards,
Andy

We have just done a migration and the same issue appears. The worklogs do seem to have descriptions (when using a time tracking app like EverIT or Tempo I can see them) but from the issue view they don't appear.
