We have a Business Project that we use to manage higher level objectives, and a Software Project to manage some of the individual task items.
We are finding now that Business Projects have all sorts of restrictions, for instance they can only have one board associated with them.
We are considering converting the project from business to software because of all of the explainable restrictions on business projects, but before we do so, we're trying to understand the differences and why anyone would use a business project.
There doesn't see
I read that article, and it's still not clear. We are trying to use a business project to manage high level business requirements, but cannot figure out why it's restricted to a single board.
Benjamin,
Business boards do not have any configuration options.

Thanks for the link. I guess that's another reason why I'm starting to think that business projects are useless.
It seems like they could only be used for very small projects which have a limited number of tasks.
We created a Business Project to keep track of high level items, but would would want multiple boards to track work on different parts of the project. There are so many "parts" though, that having a separate project for each part does not make sense.
Can you give examples of what one might use a Business Project board for? I can't imagine what anyone would use it for.

Benjamin,
The documentation below explains in depth. Hope it helps.
