Wildcard search on Key number

we use the HTC-0000 prefix as a key. how can we do a search for just the number rather the prefix and the number

Hi Gail

If you're in a board, you should be able to search for just the number. The problem arises if you have a board that pulls issues in from different projects, so let's say you have ABC-123 and DEF-123 both on the same board. Just searching for 123 will return both items, whereas searching for ABC-123 will obviously only find the one.

Search is also dependent on which projects / issues you have access to - it will only show issues that you're "allowed" to see.

Hi Warren

That would be ok but it doesn't bring up any results. I am using the Search feature on the left hand menu (magnifying glass icon).

What fields does this search feature work on? Seems to be only title or description
