If access to JIRA and Confluence is revoked will it result in any loss of data or content created by the user whose access is revoked? and if yes will it restore once access is provided again.
Also what will happen to mail notification if anything is set, will restore access automatically enable the mail notification.
Nope. The data still remains. Even if you deleted the user.
As for notifications, if a JIRA issue is assigned to the user that gets access revoked (inactive user), the notification would not be sent out to the user. The inactive user would no longer receive any JIRA or Confluence notification
