With the JIRA Subversion plugin, can I change a ticket status in my commit message?

Hi,

We have been looking at the JIRA subversion plugin – https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.jira.plugin.ext.subversion/server/installation .  All seems straightforward, but what I hadn't figured out is can we create our commit message when checking in code, is there anything we can put in the commit message that will change the "Status" field in the corresponding ticket, which the plugin evidently picks up when we include "CSC-2525" or whatever our ticket number happens to be.

That add-on is only for Server but you have tagged this question with jira-cloud. Are you sure that you are referring to the right add-on?
