Work log with new JIRA issue view is not considering the local time zone

Have two users with two different time zones(One - EST and other IST). JIRA global time zone is EST.

With old JIRA issue view, work log is considering local time zone and showing the same in time sheet where new JIRA issue is considering global JIRA time zone is showing as per EST in time sheet.

Eg: 

New JIRA Issue UI

Step 1: Logged 1d  IST Feb 9, 2021 5:00 PM 

User is in IST time zone in Account Preferences

With new JIRA Issue view,  work logged 1 d by user in IST but time sheet is showing in Feb 8 2021 considering EST time zone of JIRA. 

With Old JIRA Issue View

Logged 1d  IST Feb 9, 2021 5:07 PM  is showing on the same day in time sheet

I think its issue with new JIRA issue UI time tracking how Date Started fields is stored in JIRA internally where as Old JIRA issue UI is storing properly.

Please suggest how to handle this in new JIRA Issue UI,  as JIRA is permanently discarding old JIRA issue from April 2021
