Hi,
My name is Nir and I've been using Jira for a long time by now.
We provide R&D services for multiple customers and are looking for the most efficient way to manage it on Jira.
My question is as following:
What is the right way to work with multiple customers with no need to have multiple Jira accounts for me and for my workers.
There are some challenges worth mentioning:
We tried working with Service Desk but working with it seemed to be too complicated and didn't give the customers the ease of use and visabiliy we were looking for.
We spent a lot of time looking for the right solution...
Will appreciate your help with that.
Thanks a lot,
Nir
Hi Nir,
You might be able to do that with Issue Level Security. You can use the Assignee field or probably better, create a new custom field for Customer that is a single user picker field.
Populate the Customer field (or whatever you want to call it) with the Jira user value.
In the Issue Level Security, add an entry for the Customer field for the current user. Be sure to add the Security Level to ALL tickets. If the user's name is not in the customer field, then they cannot see the issue.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
