We have something strange that is happening to one ticket for one project. We have cloned this ticket but the strangeness is only happening on this one ticket.
You can click on view workflow and everything shows properly but we don't seem to be able to progress this one ticket from 'New' to any other status. I have never encountered this before.
Hello Melissa,
By your description, it seems that you are being able to transition the clone issue you've created. Can you confirm if there are any differences between the issue that you can reproduce the problem and the clone (Issue type, assignee, any other fields)?
I would check the following possibilities:
- Check if the issue type of the issue is properly added to a valid workflow that reference for the move you are trying to perform
- Check if the transitions that move from the status New are not configured with any Conditions that might be bocking the ticket to be transitioned
Hello Petterson,
Thank you for suggestions. I have checked and
1) the ticket with the issue is properly added to the valid workflow. When I click View workflow it is the correct workflow for this tickets project.
2) there are no conditions/transitions for this project.
Regards, Melissa

Hello Melissa,
I checked that you marked my answer as accepted. Have you managed to solve the issue or do you still facing the same problem?

I got kind of same problem @Petter Gonçalves @Melissa_Liotta but not the clone issue.
What could be reason if only 1 ticket which is task and is not showing a specific status e.g ready for production deployment but this status is visible on its workflow and other tasks tickets in the same project showing this status.
I have checked workflow of that ticket(task) which is similar to other tickets (task) and there is no condition/validation.
What else could be reason please help me to know.
Thanks
