Workflow transition post function: copy field options

Hi all
I am trying to explore some options to copy values from one field to another as a post-function of a workflow transition.
I am finding a very limited list of fields (16 in total) to copy from and to, does anyone know what limits these options? Are custom fields possible?

You can copy from and to custom fields too, all you need is to start typing the name of a custom field and then pick your option. At least it worked for me :)
