I have tried all of the posts found for fixing the JVM detection issues.  Current environment is RHEL 7.6, Have installed latest JAVA 8 from Oracle, have used the embedded java that comes installed with JIRA Server.  But consistently receive the error stopping my agency from starting up JIRA.  We have done the /etc/profile fix, the check-java modified script.

What error message is it, and when you're trying to start Jira, can you run "ps -ef | grep -i jira" to see what JVM it is trying to start with?
