Wrong date format for time tracking when not using english language for the UI
Hey Atlassian-Community,
we are in the middle of introducing Jira Cloud in our company and we are using the ootb time-tracking function within Jira.
We faced now the issue that some employees were not able to track their times when they selected a different date manually in the "Log work" dialogue.
The issue was that they had set German as language in their Atlassian account settings. And with that whenever they changed the date in the date picker the month was changed from english spelling to german spelling. For example the date 12/May/22 was transformed to 12/Mai/22 and with that an error occurred and they were not able to track their time. I did a research and found this issue
But the configuration is not possible in Jira Cloud when i open the extended settings:
(it's in german but it says that the solution from the KB article posted above is no longer working with the new issue view as the date format is based on the users language settings)
My question is: Are any of you facing the same problem? is this a "known-issue" and will be fixed in the future? Right now the behaviour is really odd and it was hard to find the issue because it is that kind of stupid.
