Wrong sprint duration in Edit Sprint dialog

Steve Fogel

When viewing the Edit sprint dialog, it shows 14 days in the sprint, but the sprint goes from Oct 19 to Nov 6, which is 15 working days. How come? The board in use has Mon-Fri as work days and no exception days.

Possible reason? I had the sprint start time and end time both at 4:00pm when I created the sprint. (I think it's wrong to have to enter time when setting sprint start and end dates.) Also, time zone was set to GMT when I created the sprint and we're in California. Just guessing here.

Please see the screenshots. Even the # of issues does not agree between the sprint header in the backlog view and the edit sprint dialog. (Note: The enclosed Edit sprint dialog shows that the start time is 9am and the end time is 5pm. This was not the case when I created the sprint. Both were 4pm).

Thanks.

Hi @Steve Fogel

Looking over these two open defects for the server version, this could be related to changing the custom setting and using the date picker.  The comments after the tickets seemed to indicate a need to add extra days to the time range in order to have the correct sprint duration.
