Is it possible to filter issues in a xporter template (e.g. all issues from issuetype XY)

Create the issue filter first (via search issues) and limit your issue type(s), then export the result via Xporter.

This way I know. I need to start a xporter-report from any issue. in this case i need a tamplate with a filter.
