Hi Folks,
Recently I came across a situation where some of the test cases were showing up in 'Releases' in JIRA when they had already 'Passed' and the Release was complete.
I concluded that the reason they were showing up was because I did not mark them 'Closed'.
Am I correct in saying that once the test case has been written and is final , I should change the status to 'Closed'? When I need to execute it, I will pull it from Test Repository to Test Plan -> Test Execution for particular release and run it there and mark it Passed or Failed. Also, I can use this test case in multiple releases by adding it to the respective Test plan and Test Execution. Can you please advice if my understanding is correct?
Thanks for your guidance in advance.
Ruchi.
