We're currently configuring our Zendesk / Jira integration in the idea that support department and software department can communicate on issues.
Most of it works but I have a problem I can't seem to resolve. When we 'close' a support type issue (that's linked to a Zendesk ticket) in Jira there's a post function in the workflow transition to put the last comment entered in the Jira issue into the Zendesk ticket.
The close issue screen allows the user to enter a comment but this doesn't go back to the Zendesk ticket and only appears in the Jira issue after a few moments (refreshing screen)
