Zephyr, Jenkins and why builds are failing in Jenkins

We have loaded the Zapi plugin into JIRA.  When the devs try and do a build in Jenkins the builds will not build.  They uninstall the Zephyr plugin in Jenkins and then the build will work.  I see this ticket dated back to 2017.  Has it ever been fixed or looked at?
