Zephyr add other Issue to test cycles than test

Is there a way to add other Issue Types than Test into Test Cycles? If not, is already a feature request existing?

Hi Silvio,

It is not possible to have another issue type other than Test added to your Test Cycles. Test Cycles are a special custom field that Zephyr created along with the ability to add test steps to the issue type Test. Becuase of this only issue type Test can recognize the test cycles to be added to them and then properly executed.

With this stated, what other kind of issue type would you want to add to a Test Cycle? And what kind of workflow are you looking for with the ability to add other issue types other than test to the test cycles?

Thx for your answer. My approach is to group existing Tests to Scenarios which are created as separate Issue Type. If Tests are part of a Scenario, they are Linked to one ore more scenarios. Do you have an idea, how to map scenarios within Zephyr?
